The guilty verdict against Donald Trump did not stop his winning streak.

He just dominated the GOP Primary in New Mexico winning 79.8% of the vote.

The Hill reported:

Former President Trump is projected to win New Mexico’s GOP presidential primary, according to Decision Desk HQ.

New Mexico has 22 delegates up for grabs on the Republicans’ side and is among one of the last states this week to hold their presidential contest.

Though Trump didn’t face any serious competition, political observers have been watching to see how much of the vote Trump rival Nikki Haley will receive in the last remaining presidential primaries after she made a surprise announcement last month that she would be voting for Trump over President Biden in November.

Trump has even seen a small bump in polling after the conviction.

Epoch Times reported:

President Donald Trump saw a small bump in support after he was convicted on felony charges this past week.

A Morning Consult poll of 10,404 registered voters carried out between May 31 and June 2, or right after President Trump was found guilty, showed that he is leading President Joe Biden by 1 percentage point, or 44 percent to 43 percent.

A previous Morning Consult survey that was conducted only on May 31 found that the former president was trailing the Democratic presidential incumbent by 1 percentage point at 45 percent to 44 percent, favoring President Biden.
