Fox News has invited Kamala Harris and Donald Trump to a debate.

The debate will be held in Pennsylvania on Sept. 17 if both sides accept.

CNBC reported:

Fox News has invited Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump to debate each other in Pennsylvania on Sept. 17, according to copies of the letters obtained by CNBC.

The invitation comes a day after Trump said he would be willing to debate Harris, the newly minted de facto Democratic nominee, multiple times on a call with reporters.

Fox News proposed that its political anchors, Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum, serve as moderators for the debate. The company said it is “open to discussion” on the exact terms of the debate, including the date, format, location and whether an in-person audience would be present.

The debate would serve as a redemption opportunity for Democrats, following President Joe Biden’s disastrous debate performance in June.

Donald Trump has called for a debate on Fox News.

The Hill reported:

Former President Trump is pushing for the second presidential debate to be hosted by a network other than ABC, accusing it of bias against him as he shifts his attacks to Vice President Harris ahead of November.

“ABC Fake News is such a joke, among the absolute WORST in the business,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform overnight Monday. “They try to make Crooked Joe into a brave warrior because he didn’t have the ‘guts’ to fight it out — He quit!”

“They then tried to make ‘Sleepy’ look like a great President – he was the WORST, and Lyin’ Kamala into a competent person, which she is not. ABC, the home of George Slopadopolus, is not worthy of holding a Debate, of which I hope there will be many!” the former president added.

ABC is currently slated to host a second presidential debate Sept. 10, a clash Trump and President Biden had agreed to.
