145 illegal alien truck drivers were arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Over 40 of them had been given commercial driver’s licenses.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), in coordination with the Indiana State Police, arrested more than 145 illegal aliens driving semi-trucks — over 40 of which had been issued Commercial Driver’s Licenses.
On Thursday, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem announced that, thanks to ICE’s 287(g) agreement with the Indiana State Police, more than 220 illegal aliens were arrested on the Hoosier State’s highways in recent weeks.
Of those arrests, 146 illegal aliens were driving semi-trucks and more than 40 had been issued Commercial Driver’s Licenses. The states that issued the most Commercial Driver’s Licenses were Illinois, California, and New York — all sanctuary states.
ICE is expecting to deport 600,000 illegal aliens before the end of the year.
Trump’s border czar Tom Homan told Axios, “If you’re in the United States illegally, you’re not off the table.”
ICE expects to deport more than 600,000 undocumented immigrants by the end of the year, President Trump’s border czar Tom Homan said at Axios’ Future of Defense Summit on Wednesday.
Why it matters: The estimate comes as the Trump administration touted that approximately 1.6 million undocumented immigrants have “voluntarily” self-deported, and another 400,000 were deported in the first 250 days of Trump’s second term.
“If you’re in the United States illegally, you’re not off the table,” Homan told Axios’ Brittany Gibson in Washington D.C. “If we find you, we’re going to arrest you.”
The latest: Homan said 70% of individuals arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) are classified as criminals, while the other 30 to 35% are identified as national security threats without criminal pasts.
The Trump administration is making Americans safer!
